TARGET APPLICATIONS
SUPRApak modules are designed to replace flat filter sheet installations or can also be used to retrofit standard lenticular module housings using adaptors in the following applications:
• Removal of colloidal haze in beverages
• Small batch filtration of high value products
• Wax removal
• Water removal from oil
• Chill haze removal in distilled spirits potentially without the need for chilling the product
• Filtration of liquid aromas

Note – each application will require individual testing to establish the correct protocol. trial or small batch testing is advised initially.

SUPRApak is a patented, unique filter layer- based module configuration based on a completely new flow concept, the so-called Edge Flow Technology, which significantly improves filtration properties and perfor- mance compared to conventional flat filter sheets and Lenticular modules resulting in higher filtrate quality and better economics.

The edge flow concept enables increased fluid contact time with the media resulting in better particle and haze removal (surface, depth and adsorption capability), producing higher quality filtrate or the use of more open sheet grades.

The higher filter area per module results in a significantly smaller assembly, compact footprint and capital investment when compared to flat sheets and standard lenticular filters.

The closed system with zero drip losses results in minimal escape of volatiles to the environment, overall a more hygienic installation and higher yield making it ideal for filtration of high value products.
